  • Duration: 15 min
  • The concept emerges from attuning to seemingly forgotten places and centering around the exploration of soundscapes in abandoned locations, where the remnants of human activity interact with the reclaiming forces of nature. A composition reflects the dynamic interplay between human intervention and natural processes, shared and reshaped through time's passage. Through their oblique interactions, it seeks to uncover the hidden narratives embedded within these environments, characterized by alluring vibrations, crunchy textures, frictional scrapes, muted tones and hissing drones, perpetually shifting, evolving, and transforming, mirroring the ongoing evolution of these abandoned spaces, bearing visible traces of its history.

Amidst the ruins, where fleeting footsteps linger, telling tales of a time long past.
Intricate webs curling into path waves,
    a sensation of light,
    a streaming radiance,
    a formless flooding and
    puddles of questionable viscosity.

I reach over and grab the instrument by its limbs.
Sliding my index finger through its cold metal rings, dripping with condensation.
    Invisible to foreign eyes.

    I linger, unwilling to leave.
My ears search for little bits of clutter and a faint distant hum. I think of the noise of metallic leaves carried by the wind.
    A pleasing ululation.
I hear a voice coming out of the plastic body.
It sings softly to those who pause to listen.
The subtle murmurs, caught between rough, brick walls.
Its voice becomes an echo, allure, a decoy.
