Lucy Valentine is a musician, guitarist and sound artist from the North East of England. She works primarily in the experimental fields and live improvisation. She has released albums focusing on source material as primal as my own heart beats and chambers, to long form live guitar drones. Recent album Vault of Heaven focuses on the historic Mellotron sound banks, and is a large scale multi-media project in which she created collage work and film to each accompanying track. Lucy tends to work exclusively with cassettes and she runs her own electroacoustic label, The Crystal Cabinet, which has featured music from composers world wide.
