Sahil Bahl is a songwriter, guitarist, singer and luthier originally from the US. In his songs, he pairs
intricate fingerstyle guitar playing with poetry-based, storytelling lyrics. Known for being an
extremely open performer, exhibiting an honesty and raw vulnerability onstage, Sahil thrives in
intimate settings. With each performance, he welcomes the audience to come close, to take a brief
stroll along with him into the past, present and future moments that comprise the stories of his
time.
You can listen to Sahil’s albums First Breath at the Water’s Edge (2016), and Ask the Child (2020),
as well as a handful of singles on all streaming services. A 10” vinyl of Ask the Child is also
available for purchase. Sahil is currently right in the middle of recording new album, to be released
in early 2025.

- Sahil’s performance for On Air - On Site will be a departure from his normal compositions. He will instead perform an instrumental mix of composed music and improvisation on the electric lap steel guitar, with effects. This performance is inspired by and will be a live exploration of a short story that is not yet completed, titled "The Jack of Hearts".
