Isabel Val Sánchez and Gigi Morralla
Isabel Val Sánchez (Spain, 1988) is an artist and cultural organizer with a special interest in everything that amplifies human sensorial and affective abilities. Her work has been shown in Barcelona, Budapest, Prague and Berlin, among other places. She is also a founder member of The Guild of Hydrosemiosis and works together with Mireia Molina Costa as Cossos d’Aigua (Bodies of Water), a collective researching sound and hydrofeminism.
Gigi Morralla (Spain, 1986). DJ, music producer, illustrator, cultural manager. In her artistic practice, she claims morralla (junk) as what has been overlooked from the margins, and from there, it takes stances. In the sonic spectrum, from live performances, production, or mixing, her music ranges from root singing to industrial cadences, and hybrids yet to be categorized. She is a member of the electroclash band Resina and the artistic collective FemArt, where she blends activism and artistic critique with cultural agitation.
