    Crimson Marvels is a 12-track project by Lea Mattia aka Prisma Stream. Recorded and produced over a 6-year period, Crimson Marvels encapsulates the world of Prisma Stream as it is experienced by Lea Mattia. One and the same, LM and PS are two artistic aliases of the same person, including Crimson Marvels as an identity in and of itself.


    Prisma Stream presents Crimson Marvels starring Lea Mattia as both a sonic portrait of the visible persona and a self-portrait. It is also a picture of the world as it is. Crimson Marvels is a reflection of our times, a concept which is encapsulated in the song Game City as well as the Ire intro, which features Erin Farley, a Dundee-based folk horror storyteller.

Prisma Stream

Prisma Stream is the name of Lea Mattia’s collective alias as well as their production studio. Lea Mattia is an Italian-born artist residing in Scotland. They have been living in Scotland for 10 years and have been building their community for many years. 

Prisma Stream presents Crimson Marvels starring Lea Mattia. Prisma Stream is an artist studio inside the Keiller Centre in Dundee, Scotland. Prisma Stream recorded the project at 2nd hand studio with Ed Muirhead, founder of Dundee Music and the Dundee Music Map. Prisma Stream has been performing Crimson Marvels at Sweet Venues in the Keiller Centre with live production by JD and Kathryn Rattray. 

Lea Mattia aka Prisma Stream is a multi-media artist, whose practice involves creating a world of media that spans from music to painting. She also works on sculptures as well as videos and other media. Her practice includes collaboration, which has led her to create the collective alias of Prisma Stream, both a individual and a group effort including names such as Calum Murray, Erin Farley, Matías Anaya, Jay Ohms, Mohamed AlKhalifa, Ruby Bee Nicoll, Andrew Christian, Scott Russell, Monica Madas, Izzy Bravo, Zoe Davies and many more.
