Renán Zelada Cisneros
Renán Zelada Cisneros (b. 1993) is a Dutch-Venezuelan composer currently living in Barcelona, Spain. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, and the Amsterdam Conservatoire, in the Netherlands. He collaborates regularly with filmmakers internationally in both fiction and documentary films. His music has been described as discreet and moody, often relying on layers of textures and subtle sound design to underscore difficult concepts or fragile scenes. Together with film scores, Renán also works regularly with soloists, ensembles, as well as acousmatic music, this last one often in collaboration with his sibling Elois. His music has been performed in festivals internationally.
