Petra Dubach and Mario van Horrik
In 1983 we started our collaboration; Petra as a dancer, Mario as a musician. Through the years the
borders between sound and movement became more and more blurred. If there is no movement the
there is also no sound and vice versa. This artistic concept is the basis for all our concerts,
installations, objects, performances and graphic work.
Besides that we are very interested in working with feedback and formal translations of one
medium into another medium, like in the project “Trans(port)(l)ation”, where timetables of public
transport are transposed to paper scores for music boxes.
