"Studie I" is a musical journey in which the composer explores new dimensions of sound and time. This piece, spanning approximately fifteen minutes, is filled with both grand and subtle events.
It seems that the primary focus of this work is on the concept of time and its expansion—like a speaker who has always had limited time to talk but now finds themselves with a broader space, requiring new techniques and fresh approaches to fill this larger container.
The musical materials in this piece emerge gradually; some are fleeting, while others possess a more distinct character, reappearing in different sections and attempting to convey their message. At times, the relationships between sounds are apparent, while at others, they operate at a microsound level, where granular synthesis reaches its peak.
All these elements, both in detail and in structure, are woven together to guide the listener, step by step, as they follow the composer through this unfamiliar journey...

Alireza Seyedi was born in 2001 and belongs to the new generation of contemporary music in Iran. Traces of traditional music and the music of the regions of Iran that have been dissolved in the context of contemporary music can be traced in his works. This presence is sometimes clear and tangible and sometimes abstract and deeper. The influence of electronic music has always been clear in his works. Whether it was when electronics were present or when it was simply inspired by that music composition culture. He is music student in Tehran whose work has been featured at various festivals like Ensemble Musikfabrik Academy, Spectro New Music Center Competition, Alfred Schnittke International Composition Competition in Lviv, Horizon Etendu Composition Academy scholarship, Roadrunner Trio Academy 2024, International computer music conference (ICMC) Cultura & Sustentabilidade 2024 – Projecto DME, Radiophrenia Glasgow, Nice international music festival and Academy Nimfa 2025 etc

Seyedi’s music is a captivating fusion of tradition and modernity, reflecting his rich cultural heritage and artistic exploration. His artistic practice involves a deep exploration of sound, technology and cultural identity.
