This performance set explores the body as both interface and mediator between human gesture and electronic sound, each performer engages with a personalized improvisation system: a PlayStation controller linked to Max for Live, a touchpad programmed through Pure Data, and a collection of motion sensors attached to synthesis engines. Together they inhabit the space between input and output, where movement and touch become sonic transmissions. Their performance works on how embodied actions like pressing, waving, swiping all translate into shifting sonic textures, revealing the body’s role as a site of resonance, translation, and resistance within human–technology interaction.

Formed at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2025, this electroacoustic improvisation trio brings together composition students Nicolas Speda (DE/AT), Tobías Álvarez (MX/UK), and Lingyuang Yang (CH). Through live electronics, acoustic materials, and spontaneous interaction, the trio explores collective sound-making at the intersection of improvisation, experimentation, and electroacoustic practice.
