Despite the effort all I can see is lines, is following the attempt to fill the communication and cultural gaps between me and Asian countries, in this specific case with Japan. Developed during the following years and built using Field Recordings I recorded during a trip I made between December 2012 and January 2013 in central Japan. The final result is an imaginary intimate emotional itinerary giving the sounds the task to narrate what was left out of those intense days of inputs and meet ups. The title describes my difficulty to communicate, strengthened by a language I never learnt made of ideograms and graphics signs blending in my head and changing into a game of jointed colours.
This transformation is mirrored in the Soundscape that mixes different situations, either in time and space without the need to describe the recorded places or to point to the audience what is happening. The listeners gets their own personal experience built around their own mood, their culture, background and expectations, totally immersed into the exploration of their ego, and led only by the sonic suggestions.
