On March 20th, around 4 pm EET, listening through the WebSDR receiver at the University of Twente – a shortwave antenna tuned simultaneously by strangers across the world – the radio wrote its own script.

Voice, accordion, and the Rumble of Ancient Time dissolve into a subliminal play of frequencies across the world. A guest appearance from an owl from my balcony in Sofia, Bulgaria, which holds the ground. Laughter surfaces on both ends of the dial.

Fifteen minutes between a balcony and the rest of the world.
