Nothing, void, lack. This sound sculpture goes from nihil to nihilism as pessimism and meaninglessness surface next to its golden orbs. Part heads, part bodies, dressed in flesh-like fashion, it does nothing but its own thing: rings to its frequencies, resonates its own ideas, amplifying its own voice like tinnitus turned intrusive thoughts.

Musician and sound artist, he has a diverse creative output, exploring mediums such as acousmatic music, live electronics, free improvisation and also traditional written composition, besides building sound sculptures, videos and other multimedia artworks. Holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Music Composition, and is currently a docARTES PhD candidate (Leiden University/Orpheus Institute) on artistic research in Music. His research approaches the poiesis of negativity and creative uses of DIY practices with a focus on their political potential to reframe alterity.
